Plain English terms for using thebusiness.school and buying our products. By using the site or buying from us you agree to these.
Free resources
- Free packs and pages are free for classroom and school use: download them, print them, share them with your department and your students, adapt them for your own lessons.
- Do not resell them, upload them to paid marketplaces, or strip the attribution and pass them off as your own.
- They are teaching materials, not professional advice. Exam specifications change; always check the current specification and mark schemes for your series.
Paid products
- A purchase buys a licence for the purchasing teacher and their school to use the product with their own classes.
- The same rules as above: use and adapt freely inside your school, no reselling or redistribution outside it.
- Every paid product is a digital download and carries our digital download refund policy. A free sample is available before purchase. Change-of-mind refunds are not normally offered once the files have been accessed or downloaded, but we put right a double charge, files you cannot access, or a product that is materially defective or not as described. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
- Payments are processed by our checkout provider; their terms apply to the payment itself.
The simulation
Classroom licences for the live simulation are agreed per school; see licensing. Students join with a PIN and a nickname they choose.
Sensible limits
- We work hard to keep everything accurate and available, but we provide the site and products as they are, and we are not liable for indirect losses from using them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or your statutory rights.
- If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Company and law
The seller is TBS Education Ltd Oy, a Finnish company, company number 3614159-3, ICO registration ZC133810. These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without affecting the consumer protections of the country you live in. Questions: support@thebusiness.school.
