For Heads of Department & Senior Leadership

Built to lift A-Level Business results, strengthen post-16 Ofsted evidence and fit a sixth-form department budget

The Business School is a browser-based classroom simulation for UK A-Level, BTEC and IGCSE Business. It runs in a single lesson, covers every major UK specification, and produces the written evidence Heads of Department and Senior Leadership are asked for by Ofsted, SLT and examiners.

Why this matters now

Three pressures on UK Heads of Business in 2026:

Nov 2025

New Ofsted framework

Post-16 provision is now a standalone graded area. Heads need tools that generate evidence for curriculum innovation and personal development.

Sep 2026

AQA spec refresh

AQA A-Level Business 7137/7138 begins first teaching in September. Schemes of work are being rewritten this summer.

2025/26

Tight budgets

95% of school leaders report squeezed discretionary budgets. Departmental spend over £500 triggers multi-quote procurement.

Year on year

Options evenings

A-Level Business competes with Economics and Psychology for Sixth Form intake. Differentiation at taster lessons drives recruitment.

How The Business School answers each
